Is Chiropractic Effective?
The short answer is, “Absolutely!” Chiropractic care is very safe and effective.
There is overwhelming scientific evidence that chiropractic care works. Many controlled and independent studies have shown that chiropractic care is safe and effective for treating low back pain, neck pain, headaches and other conditions linked to the spinal cord. Chiropractic care is the treatment of choice for most spinal problems.
DO MANY PEOPLE SEE CHIROPRACTORS?
Millions of people seek pain relief through chiropractic care. Most patients experience actual relief and improved well-being. They also make reoccurring visits a part of their lifestyle choice.
WHAT IS A CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT? IS IT SAFE?
An adjustment is the method of treatment used by any chiropractor. We apply controlled and safe pressure to your spine that restores proper motion and position of each vertebra. The procedure has been learned and perfected for several years at chiropractic colleges and in clinical practices across the world.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM TREATMENT?
Results depend on your specific condition and treatment. Your Doctor of Chiropractic can estimate the range of relief you should receive from treatment, and how long it should last.
People often choose chiropractic because they get fast results. Individual cases will vary and chronic conditions obviously need extended, repetitive treatment. However, Workers’ Compensation Board studies have shown that people who seek chiropractic care while suffering low back pain, return to work faster.
